The solution starts
with your need.
When you have a part but no drawing, scanning captures its shape. We prepare the data for modelling, reconstruction or comparison.
- A discontinued or worn part
- A complex shape that is hard to measure
- A digital copy of a physical object
What should you provide?
The part or photos, approximate dimensions and the intended use of the model. On-site scanning can be arranged for the project.
What will you receive?
A cleaned STL or OBJ mesh: unnecessary data removed, surfaces cleaned and orientation set along X, Y and Z. An editable CAD model is a separate scope.
A clear workflow.
Your challenge
Send a file, sketch, photo or the part itself. We will advise on a suitable way to make it and agree the price and timing.
Agreed solution
We will scan or measure the part and prepare a digital file for manufacturing.
Reviewed production
Before production, a team member checks the model and settings. We coordinate the agreed work.
The result for you
We check the result and prepare it for delivery or collection.
One point of contact for the whole job.
If the project needs scanning, modelling and production, AIQME coordinates every step. Suitable manufacturing partners are involved when needed.

Is a scan immediately ready for manufacturing?
Not always. The mesh may need rebuilding as a CAD model and adapting to the manufacturing process.
What determines the lead time?
The model condition, process, quantity and scope determine timing. We confirm the lead time in the proposal.
